THE PLOT:

Scooby and the Gang travel to Scottland to meet Daphine's Scottish cousin who is hosting the Highland Games. Seems like fun, but something has the games angered the Loch Ness Monster which the Castle rests near.

For the creature has been seen, terrorizing the people and distrupting the games. Velma wants to prove the existence of the Loch Ness Monster and volenteers the gang to help a visiting Professor who wants to do the same thing.

Is it real? Has the once peaceful creature gone rogue due the distrubtion in it's habitat? Or is there somehting more sinister, more down to Earth going on?

ZEDD'S OPINION:

I've been a fan of Scooby since I was a little kid, it's one of my favorite TV shows and if you read the reviews for the two Scooby-Doo live action movies, you are already aware of this. So it won't come to any surprise that I liked this, the story was good, the animation was good. The cast was good. I didn't know it was FACTS OF LIFE star MINDY COHN as VELMA, but I always thought the voice sounded familur. Anyway, other then they did the Loch Ness monster mystery in the 1970s' season. This was good. I give it...9 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

As monsters movies go, Scooby always makes it fun to watch. But if you aren't a Scooby fan. Then you won't like this movie. But it's still tons better BENEATH LOCH NESS. I give it 9 STARS as well.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (- HITS):

+ STORY (The story was cool, follow the clues.)
+ CAST (A great voice over cast.)
+ FUNNY (Very, very funny.)
+ CREATURE (The creature design was great)
+ LIFTED HEAD (It acted like a dinosaur, not a overgrown shark)
+ BETTER THEN BENEATH (If you choose only one Loch Ness monster movie out of these two, I'd pick this one.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- BEEN THERE, DONE THAT, MOVED ON (Any true Scooby fan will know they did the Loch Ness Monster Mystery.)

AND FINALLY...

- FAN BASED (If you aren't big on Scooby, then this isn't the movie for you.)
