THE PLOT:
A group out to looking an island for a possible resort find more then they bargain for. The Natives warn of the wrath of
Gappa, when they find a baby creature like no dinosaur they've ever seen. They capture it and take it to Tokyo for study,
but when Momma and Poppa find out that baby doesn't make three they go after their little bundle of joy and woe to those who
get in their way.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Story wise it's nothing new, they did that same bit in 1961's Gorgo. When a giant dino trashes London for the stolen wee
one. But Japan can to the plot right, the creatures are ten times cooler then England's Gorgo, the characters work better.
Let's face it, it's just way better. My advice to you the reader, if you liked Gorgo then you'll LOVE Gappa! 8 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
The thing that bugs me about movies like this is the natives always assume it's a God, just because it freaks them out, Gods
generally talk. Anyway, that bugs me and other then that, Zedd is right this is much better then Gorgo. 7 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (- HITS):
+ GAPPA (An impressive monster.)
+ EFFECTS (For the company's first time, not a bad attempt.)
+ STORY (Basic but works.)
+ CHARACTERS (More likable then Gorgo.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- NATIVES (Why do natives always assume a big monster is a god?)
...AND FINALLY....
- FAN BASED (If you aren't a fan of the giant monster movie, then this isn't for you.)
